Well, I’ve officially joined the thirty club! I honestly was feeling a lot of dread a couple of years ago knowing that I was so close to 30 but feeling more like 18. Can anyone else relate? It’s like I woke up one day fully expecting to still be in college, but somehow ended up married with three kids. haha I honestly could not feel more blessed and as I woke up this morning, all I felt was gratitude. Grateful for my family’s health, my husband, my babies, good friends, and a wonderful extended family. Grateful for our jobs that are too fun to feel like work. Just grateful. I wanted to stop and thank you guys, too. Y’all have no idea how much you mean to me. I love this community. Interacting with y’all through DMs and emails is literally what I look forward to most every day (other than spending time with my kids, of course). I will answer some of your questions from IG at the bottom of this post, so be sure to read to the end!
Happy Wednesday! Also, the day before the Nordstrom Sale…but who’s keeping up with that? 😉 In all seriousness, I’m pulling an all-nighter for you babes so definitely check back here whether you are getting up at 2a.m. with me to shop, or waiting to shop first thing in the morning. My post is ready to go and so am I! I can’t wait to share all the goodness with you. Until then, I wanted to share this fun Free People Jumpsuit with you!
We had such a fun 4th of July this year. Our whole family got together and it was so fun to see and hang out with all of our cousins. We went to the parade, swam at my parent’s house, ate some delicious food and then watched fireworks! It was the perfect 4th of July with my favorite people! My kids went straight through nap time and dropped by the end of the night. To me, that’s a sign of a good day. I hope you guys had a great 4th! Here are some photos from our day:
4th of July 2018:
We are about to get fall-fashion crazy over here starting next week, but before the craze that is the Nordstrom Sale begins, I want to share a few outfits that are perfect for summer. I know many of you still have vacations planned or still need dresses to wear throughout the summer, so I’ve got you covered! I hope you find your perfect summer outfit in this post. I’m sharing my try-on via video in my Instagram Stories this morning, so be sure to go watch if you want to see the pieces in motion. I always find these try-ons helpful and I hope you do as well. Please let me know if you have any questions!
Happy 4th of July! I am spending the day with my family, but I wanted to pop in really quick to wish you all a happy and safe 4th! I am also really excited to share a fun giveaway with you guys! I love doing giveaways every once in a while to let you know how much I appreciate you for following me and reading my blog on the regular! You guys are so supportive and mean so much to me and my family, so THANK YOU! 3 lucky winners will win $500 cash each!
Happy Friday, friends! We have finally made it to the weekend! Anyone else doing a little dance? We have a fun weekend planned with the kids and have been so looking forward to the weekend. My car is finally fixed, VBS was a major success (and so much fun) and we are feeling blessed. You know what? I was super negative about my car situation earlier this week, but I am so thankful that we had the funds set aside to pay for it. That was a big blessing this week and I am so thankful for that. And now, we can get on with our weekend plans and some awesome sales! First, I wanted to share a Friday Five since I wasn’t able to last week (thank you guys for giving my sponsored post some love last week) and then I will jump into the 4th of July sales.
ONE. One of you requested I share five outfits, so I thought I would start with that! I shared some of this past week’s outfits in this post earlier in the week, but here are two more that would be really cute for the 4th of July or an everyday summer outfit!
I haven’t done an outfit round-up in a hot minute, so I thought, why not do one today? I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite outfits over the last week or so. I may make these “What I Wore” posts a little more regular so that I can help answer sizing questions and it can be a good reference for you guys to come back to!
Over the weekend, I posted my 4th of July fashion picks for the family including swimwear, tanks, dresses, accessories and more! Definitely check it out if you haven’t gotten your outfits for the 4th yet! Yesterday, I didn’t post so that I could take some time to work on content and take photos. I’m trying to get in a groove of posting daily, again but I decided this around the time the kids got out of school, so that backfired on me a little bit and I haven’t had as much time as I would like to devote to writing daily. However, bare with me because I will get it figured out soon. It is definitely helpful when you guys tell me things you would like to see on the blog, so keep your suggestions coming! I appreciate them more than you know!
I absolutely love the 4th of July! My entire family comes into town and I get to see all of my cousins, eat good food and watch the fireworks. We always have such a good time together and I am really looking forward to it this year. I also absolutely love wearing red, white and blue. It is such a classic combination that really works. This year in particular, I have seen the cutest clothes for the kids and the best tees for the mamas! In regards to my past 4th of July outfits, I’ve been known to go completely decked out in the American flag, or be a little more subtle with denim shorts and a white tee. I haven’t quite decided what I’m wearing this year, but I’m sort of going to go with what I’m feeling that morning. HA!

I’m rounding up some of the cutest styles for littles and for mamas below along with some fun accessories and my favorite America tees!
I am so happy it is Thursday! Ryan is home! It’s been a WEEK at our house, y’all. I could tell lots of poop stories from the week, but I’ll spare you. I’ll just leave it at… I got to take the most amazing bath last night after my knight in shining armor walked in and it was glorious. This week, Thursday is just as good as Friday. I am super excited to share this cute summer dress with y’all, and like the title says, it is literally the only one you will need this summer!
I don’t own a ton of jumpsuits, but when I tried this one on last week while we were in Jacksonville, I fell in love. Do you ever put on something and immediately think of ten different ways you could wear it? This striped jumpsuit did that for me. I could have styled it many more ways and will give you more ideas, but for today, I am sharing the jumpsuit styled three ways! I also really love it by itself like I shared in this post earlier this week!
When it comes to fashion, my taste is all over the place. Depending on my mood, I may be wearing Lilly Pulitzer one day and Free People the next. I don’t like to put boundaries or limitations on it because it is very much how I express myself and I think it’s important to keep an open mind when it comes to different styles. This jumpsuit can go from date night to running errands and from summer to fall with a few transitional pieces and I really love that about it.
