Happy hump day, friends! We are half way through the week and I could not be more excited about that. Over the weekend, my entire family caught a stomach virus that has been a tough one to get over, but we are on the mend and looking forward to the weekend! Also, this lovely unique watch came in the mail this week which made me all kids of happy! Who doesn’t love a new little slice of heaven when they are feeling sick!?

This weekend started off so great! Saturday morning was cool outside and we enjoyed a little time outdoors in my new comfy fall layers before I went out with my best friend for a little pampering! We got our eyebrows done, nails done and went to lunch! I even picked up a couple of things for baby boy which was really fun! I can’t even remember the last time I enjoyed a whole afternoon with a friend! It was much-needed!

The second morning in a row that I have been able to enjoy some fall weather! I am loving this! My little Sophie girl started throwing up yesterday afternoon, so today we are on the mend and praying so hard that none of us catch whatever it is that she and my parents have. I’m diffusing all the oils and drinking all the coffee so I can keep up with all the laundry. I had to wash her sheets multiple times yesterday and am seriously considering buying another cheap one today so that we have more sets when these things happen. For now, here are some of my fall-inspired Friday favorites!

I am a happy mama right now. Why? Because it FINALLY feels like fall this morning! I may never go inside! I’ve enjoyed lots of coffee on the porch and of course, I just had to put on some of my favorite fall boots this morning. It’s the law, or something. I might also go buy a PSL when I pick up Hamp from school. Cliche? Probably, but I am going with the mood here…

Happy Friday! We are currently traveling and hanging out in Biloxi. I had the opportunity to tag along on one of Ryan’s business trips and so I took it! We are having a lot of fun (in between meetings) and it has been a nice little break! This week has been filled with lots of laundry, cleaning and determined to stay healthy in a house full of sickness. Half of my family has had the stomach virus and half of us have had colds/ear infections, so we are trying to stay away and hopefully get better so that next week we can get back to normal. My crew is starting to feel  lot better, so I am very thankful for that! I also got my POPSUGAR Must Have box in the mail this week and I can’t wait to share it with you guys!

Today is the first day of fall! My favorite season! Pumpkins, Boots, Scarves, Hay Bales, Soups, Baked Goods, Leaves, Football, Cooler Weather, Leggings, etc. etc. I can’t wait for it all! We still have about 4 more weeks before it will start cooling off around here, but I am getting very excited! This season, we will be moving into our brand new house and welcoming our brand new baby boy! We will be celebrating our 5th year anniversary and Ryan and Hampton’s birthdays. We will visit the pumpkin patch and I will wear booties every day. Yes, I am a little excited that fall is finally here! My week was made when my Fall FabFitFun box arrived the other day and I can’t wait to show you the goodies that were in it!

Pumpkins, Hay belles, Football, Cool Weather, Scarves, Boots, Pies, Sunflowers, I think it is safe to say I am ready for fall to be here. You guys know how fall-obsessed I am because there is so much excitement for my family during this season (anniversary, birthdays, Halloween, etc.), and this year we are adding another birthday! We are super excited to meet our little guy, and I am very ready for that fall weather to cool this mother off a bit! It has been entirely too hot. September normally is here, so I am holding out for mid-October for those cooler temps (meaning 80’s). For now, I’ll ponder finally getting to wear all of my favorite fall clothes and share with you my fall essentials that are all $50 and under!

It’s Friday which means it’s time for more of my Friday favorites! This week, we have struggled a little bit. Both of my babies have been sick and running a fever the last couple of days. Hamp missed school which made me (and him) sick because he was looking so forward to it. Poor little guy. My Sophie girl has been just pitiful the last couple of days, but I’m praying that today is the ay everyone starts to feel better! It is a holiday weekend, after all! It’s time to get out and explore…or carb load and watch football. either way…which brings me to my first FAVORITE!

It is hard to believe that fall is just around the corner! While autumn is less than one month away, the temperatures are still very much – summer! It’s making me sad because I love the fall and fall weather so much and really wish we could enjoy more of the season here, but unfortunately we don’t begin having fall-like weather until late October. So, while you are all enjoying your boots and scarves in the next month, I’ll still be rocking shorts. I thought it would be fun to share this easy fall transition outfit because I purchased it during the #NSale and have already worn this dress about 5 times.

I’m not sure if it was my recent fall wardrobe purchases or the fact that school is starting and everyone is already talking football down here in the south, but I have been in the mood for some delicious fall recipes. It has still been too hot to make chill or soup, so I decided to bake a sweet treat – Pecan Pie Brownies – over the weekend. If you’ve been reading my blog for a little while, you know that I have a huge sweet tooth and I love to bake much more than I like to cook. Normally baking wins out over cooking an extravagant meal around our household.
