Why is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale so popular?

Every year, Nordstrom releases their brand new fall and winter lines from popular brands (even some designer) to the public at a discounted price (usually around 40% off) for a limited time before they go back up to full price for the start of the fall season. Things tend to sell out quickly, so be sure to add everything to your cart and check out in a timely manner. That strategy is key to snagging your favorites from the sale.

When does the NSALE start?

You can start shopping at 12:01am ET on the date of your tier. This year’s shopping dates are below:

The sale preview goes live on July 3rd where everyone can get a sneak peek at all of the goodies that will be included in the sale. I highly recommend you add your must-haves to your wish list (on their website) so that you can check out quickly on your shopping day. Things have been known to sell out before my eyes even at 12a.m. You do need to go into the day with a plan and be prepared to check out quickly. Tips for shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale:

As I stated above, you must go into the sale with a plan. The more prepared you are, the more likely you will be to grab your favorites.

-Make sure your card information is up to date and check your cardmember status to see which day you can begin to shop.

– Do a closet inventory of what you need for this year and make a list of items you plan to shop for. This is also a great time to grab some Christmas gifts and winter items for your kids.

– I tend to stick to buying basics for this sale – think boots, jeans, coats, etc. These brands are great quality and last for years. I love to stock up on sneakers and athleisure as well.

– Add things to your wish list on the Nordstrom website under your account so that you can check out quickly.

When else can you get brand new Tory Burch bags and Vince Camuto boots at 40% off? I’ve always loved covering this sale and this year is no exception. It’s almost time for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Who’s ready to shop? We are one week away from shopping day (for early access shoppers) and I am getting so excited! I thought today would be the perfect day to go ahead and post my first look favorites to make things easier for you to shop. Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 | What You Need To Know Before the Sale

It is almost time for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 which is by far my favorite sale of the year! I have always saved and planned ahead for this sale in order to snag some of my favorite brands at a discounted price and stock up on all of my favorite fall basics. This year, the sale will be slightly different than previous years, however you will still be able to find designer brands on sale and save on your favorite fall finds! I will be sharing try ons and all of my picks from the sale on my blog, Instagram (and Insta Stories) and my newsletter, so be sure to follow along for all the deals!

What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

Every year, Nordstrom puts their brand new fall and winter items on major sale (usually around 40% off) for a limited time before they go back up in price for the season. Everything sells out so fast, so be sure to add everything to your cart and check out very quickly. That is key.

When Does the Sale Start?

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 opens to the public August 19th – August 30th! Prices go back up on August 31st. You can shop the sale early if you have been approved for a Nordstrom Card. If you are approved to shop the sale, Early Access begins August 13th – August 18th! That means you get to shop the sale a whole week early! I highly recommend getting a Nordstrom Card (apply HERE) in order to shop the sale during Early Access because things sell out so quickly. Bonus: If you sign up and get approved for a card then make a purchase you will receive a $60 note (credit) to shop the #NSALE!

Preview the Sale!

This year Nordstrom is putting all of the Anniversary sale items on their website for you to preview them instead of doing a catalogue! This will allow you to add the items you want to your wish list and allow you to check out much faster the day you can shop the sale! I highly recommend doing this to save time and help ensure you get the items you want. The preview will be live THIS FRIDAY July 24th!

Why should I shop this sale?

This is the only sale where they where everything is 100% brand new inventory that you can purchase before the season even begins at a discounted price. You can also score brand names and designer labels on SALE! Think: brand new Tory Burch fall items up to 40% off! You will be able to score the season’s hottest jeans, boots, jackets and more all at a discounted price. Trust me, if there is ever a sale to shop, this is the one.

How should I shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

I will be doing my personal shopping on Nordstrom.com this year, however, if you live near a store, you can do that as well. I have shopped both in store and online in the past and have found that there is so much more online, so I prefer that option. I highly recommend bookmarking my blog so you can come here and shop all of my picks quickly and easily without sifting through pages and pages. I will also be sharing lots of collages and favorites in the LIKEtoKNOWit app so make sure you are following me along there as well as Instagram! I will be posting a try on in my Insta Stories as soon as I get my goodies as well. Which ever option you choose, I recommend you shop quickly and check out fast. That is key in this sale because things sell out right before your eyes.

My advice for shopping the sale:

Shop early, shop quickly and shop smart! I always do a closet inventory of items I need for fall (ex. leggings, jeans, cardigans, workout clothes, boots, etc.) and make sure that I grab those first. I try to buy the things that I know I will need and wear a lot throughout the season but don’t want to pay full price for. I highly, highly recommend applying for the Nordstrom card ASAP so that you can shop the sale early! Apply HERE!

It’s the first day of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for public access and there are still some really great things that are fully stocked! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is truly my favorite sale of the entire year because the prices are great on a lot of quality items that do not normally go on sale, however, a lot of the tops and things are not worth spending $50+ on when there are some really great $20 dupes that are just as good (thank you, Amazon). I am rounding up a bunch of #nsale dupes in this post and I hope you enjoy shopping the great price tags from the Nordstrom sale tomorrow, but if you aren’t into that, I hope you have fun browsing these lookalikes that are way cheaper! Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018: Still in Stock

I know the lack of restocks during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018 have been…frustrating to say the least. I hope that some of you who waited until public access were able to snag some things that were on your wishlist! I thought it would be helpful to put together a list of things that are still in stock so that it will save you time and frustration while shopping. Some of my favorite things are still fully stocked! The good news is that some of my favorite things are still fully stocked! ! I also returned a few of the sold out items because I did not care for them as much as others seem to, so don’t sweat it if you didn’t get some of the more popular things.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018: Dressing Room + Public Access

On Wednesday, I went in to Nordstrom to try some things on in the dressing room, and unfortunately, they were wiped out. I honestly went on quite possibly the worst day of the sale because they have not restocked for the public yet. Things should be in stock today, so I am going to go ahead and share what I tried on.
