I’m done. I found my dress for the season. This tee dress is so gorgeous, amazing quality and I love all of the little details. The entire back of this adorable dress, buttons. I love it because you can wear it fully buttoned or unbutton a few on the top or bottom for a completely different look! I can’t wait to play around with it a bit more! Made well sent me some clothes this month, and I have adored everything I have put on. It remains on of my favorite stores and their jeans are still my favorites. They fit me perfectly. The thing that I never have to worry about when shopping at Madewell is the quality of my purchases. Everything is amazing quality down to their tee shirts. I have owned my button down buffalo plaid shirt from them for years and it still looks like new!

This week has been so busy! We have had doctor’s appointments, and so many extra things that have come up that have had us running around like crazy people. This weekend will be no exception because we have a full schedule, but it will be fun! We will be spending our weekend with friends and family and you can’t ask for more than that! This week, my kids have all had big milestones! Sophie turned TWO on Monday! I can’t believe my baby girl is two. It doesn’t seem right. My baby boy turned 6 months on Wednesday. How has it already been half a year? And my Hampton had his end of the year spring program at school yesterday! He did great! Did you catch my video on IG stories? We were SO proud and made fools of ourselves ooo-ing and ahh-ing over him the entire performance while also videoing and taking a million photos. It was hilarious.

Mother’s Day is right around the corner and if you haven’t ordered mom anything, now’s the time to do it! Trust me, don’t try to wait last minute. Two years in a row, our gifts haven’t come in on time because of us (cough, me) procrastinating. So this year, I have made sure to order everything in plenty of time (I hope). I tried to choose a something for every mom of all different ages, but couldn’t resist throwing a few of my favorite things from my wish list in the mix. A few of these are included in the Shopbop sale this week, too, so run, don’t walk because they sell out fast!

Recently, I noticed my diaper bag getting heavier and heavier. I decided to finally clean it out, go through everything and reevaluate what I really needed to keep in there for my three babies. I found out quickly that I had accumulated a lot of extras that did not need to be in there. I definitely have to carry a diaper bag because my kids are all very young and still need quite a few things.

And just like that we are less than a month away from Mother’s Day! Mother’s Day weekend has always been a big weekend for my family. My younger brother was born on Mother’s Day and we always enjoy celebrating him along with my sweet mom! For the last 6+ years, I have also had the pleasure of celebrating my MIL. Both of these women are so special to me and it has always been so wonderful having a day where we love on them extra hard and let them know how much they are appreciated, loved and cared for. 3 and a half years ago, something changed. I became a mother. The most precious name I’ve ever been called. The most meaningful name, role, job, title. Since that day, I have felt just as special on Mother’s Day. My family and wonderful husband has made sure of that.

In true fashion (see what I did there?) I wanted to round up some of my favorite dresses for Mother’s Day that are under $100! Every mom deserves something special to wear on that day, so if you are one of those women (I’m looking at you mom) who never buys herself anything, this is the time and occasion to do it! You deserve it!

I can’t believe how fast this week is going by. Is it just me, or is it going by quickly for you, too? I’m not sure if it’s all the sunshine we’ve had, or the fact that we have been running around like crazy people all week. I must say that while we have had a busy week, we have also made time to play outside quite a bit. I think we have been so excited to see the sun shining and feel the warmth outside. Especially after all of the storms last week. I recently received this maxi dress from Pink Blush (one of my favorite shops) and I thought it would be fun to style it two different ways. I love maxi dresses because they seriously look good on everyone. I can’t think of one body type they don’t work for. They are also really easy to dress up or down and during the summer, they are cool and comfy.This dress has pockets and a slit that goes just below the knee so it is easy to tie in a knot which is a trend I am loving right now!

One of my favorite stores is having a huge sale that opened today to the public! Shopbop’s event of the season sale is a great excuse to snatch up some of those designer pieces you’ve had your eye on for spring and summer! I have a running wish list on their site that keeps growing and growing because they have so many adorable things. I thought it would be fun to share what is on my wish list. Some are realistic and some…not so much. It’s all in good fun, though, right? So, let’s get to the Shopbop sale…

Easter is next weekend. It really snuck up on me this year. I have not hardly bought anything for the kid’s Easter baskets, so I really need to jump on that like, today. I did purchase mine and Sophie’s Easter Dresses and the boy’s outfits, so that much is done. Easter is one of my favorite holidays because of it’s religious aspects, but also because we get together with family and friends and enjoy each other’s company and good food. I also love holidays with the kids because they get so excited over every little thing. Life really is better when you look through your children’s eyes.
