Y’all know my love for plaid runs deep. It’s such a great pattern that can be mixed and matched so many ways. It looks great with all colors and I just love it for the holidays! It is such a festive pattern if done right, and this dress did it just right! I love the red and black and the wide plaid pattern. My favorite thing about this dress is the sleeves. I love the subtle flutter sleeve at the bottom and the cold shoulder. It is so adorable and perfect for a Christmas party. Throw on some OTK boots or booties and pair it with a black peacoat and it is the perfect little holiday outfit!
Snow Day in Alabama + Green Monday Sales
It snowed in my hometown for the first time in 4 years over the weekend! It wasn’t much, but it was still so fun! Watching my babies discover the snow for the first time was precious and hilarious. Weston loved it and was very curious about it, but Sophie screamed as soon as she touched it because it was “cold.” Bless her little heart. Hampton warmed up to it pretty quick once our neighborhood kids all started a big snowball fight – which he was all about! Our fun didn’t last long because it was all melted by lunch and we were left with muddy slush. BUT, it was pretty and fun while it lasted and we are so thankful for that magical day. Now on to some GREEN MONDAY sales!!
Recent Outfits and Weekend Sales
I have not done an old school OOTD (outfit of the day) post in a while, so I thought I would do one today because, why not? I love sharing my outfits and figure I might bring back the old fashioned #ootd posts. What do you think? There are some great weekend sales going on as well and I will share my favorites at the bottom of the post if you are interested in doing a little shopping for yourself or for Christmas gifts. No judgement here!
Recent Outfits:
This first outfit is one that I wore yesterday! I am in love with this sweater (on sale) and the jacket is a must! It is amazing quality (suede) and so gorgeous (also on sale)! I wore it to run errands and take the kids to school. It was perfect for the cooler weather!
The Cutest Black Top
It’s funny how much you change through the years. A couple of years ago, I looked in my closet and all I saw were white, black and gray. I decided to add a lot of color, and now my closet looks like a rainbow vomited in there. I realized that I dd not own a single black top (that wasn’t a basic tee) and so when I saw this cutie, I knew I needed it. I have already worn it so much since purchasing a couple of weeks ago and it has quickly become one of my go-tos! The ruffles on the sleeves are just darling and I love the dotted mesh detail on the sleeves as well. The front of the top is a blouse material, but the back is a tee shirt material and it is so soft.
Oh, Deer!
My family loves all things deer. All the men in my family hunt and we always had deer heads hanging on our walls, growing up. I realize this may be controversial or foreign to some of you, but in Alabama, it is extremely common. My mom always had lots of deer mixed in our decor – especially at Christmastime! I love continuing the tradition in our home! While Ryan does not hunt and we do not have deer heads on our walls, I do love adding deer decor where I can. When I saw these deer sweaters, I had to have them for Sophie and me! They are two of my favorite colors and both have the sweetest deer on them!

Happy Wednesday! I love this day because it means we are half way through the week and getting closer to the weekend! I have been paying a lot of attention to these stats to see what you guys are loving the most, and it’s safe to say that the weather is finally cooling off because y’all loved Sweaters and Boots this month!

Black Friday Sales
Black Friday began very early this year! I have been sharing a ton of sales and deals on Insta Stories, so be sure to follow there. It has been easier to do it that way since we have been traveling all week. However, I am Black Friday ready and currently stalking all of our favorite retailers for the best sales and deals! I am listing all the sales and discount codes for each retailer below. Be sure to check my “Sales” tab and “Black Friday” tab for my absolute favorite deals and products I recommend. I am keeping them updated as well.
Thanksgiving Outfit for Under $75
My dress is finally available online, so I am beyond excited to finally share this Thanksgiving outfit with y’all! This dress is under $30 and my boots are under $50! This whole outfit is around $75 which is awesome! You know how much I am loving chenille – everything – this season because this fabric is just so soft! This chenille sweater dress is pure perfection. It is soft, comfortable and the color is amazing. It is like wearing a nightgown. It’s THAT comfortable. It’s also such a steal that I couldn’t pass it up. This dress has the cutest cutout detail on the back that is not so low that it shows your bra (a.k.a. mom-friendly). It is in the juniors section, so I did size up to a Medium for a looser fit. The small was really tight and I will never wear anything tight on Thanksgiving. I just won’t.
Hearth and Hand Favorites and Weekend Sales
Who else has been anxiously awaiting the Hearth and Hand by Magnolia collection at Target? Two of my favorite companies coming together. What could be better? I must admit that I did not expect the collection to be mostly holiday, but it make sense because of the time of year, I suppose. I have rounded up some of my favorites and will be sharing what I have purchased on Insta Stories later today, so be sure to go check it out! If you hang with me until the bottom of the post, I will also share some sales you can not miss this weekend.
Last year, I waited until Black Friday to do most of my shopping in case there was a better deal that day, but because I ignored the amazing sales leading up to that day, a lot of the things on my list were already sold out. Do not let that happen to you! If you are able, I would go ahead and be shopping because the sales are already so good! Be sure to get the specific things you want, now, before they sell out.
