THAT just happened


I’m very excited to participate in the new link-up “THAT Just Happened” because I am always saying I am a brunette with a lot of blonde moments. Here goes…

Last Saturday my husband and I decided to get a little creative with our breakfast. We had a genius idea- to put our cinnamon rolls in our waffle iron and make mini cinnamon waffles! I took a lot of pictures and was so excited to put it on the blog to share with you all! Later that afternoon I was playing around on Pinterest and saw this:

I was so disappointed. It turns out we aren’t so clever after all. Oh well. They were delish!

Go Vote!

Because my husband (Ryan) works in politics, Election Day is kind of a big deal in our household. Ryan was extremely excited and anxious this morning before leaving for work. I love seeing him so passionate about his job. We had the privilege to vote together for the first time today, and what a blessing it was. I encourage you all to vote, and to vote for the candidate whose platform most complies with your beliefs.

~Vintique. It is a photo editing app with really cool filters that Instagram does not have.

~ REVOLUTION- I’m addicted! It’s not my usual cup of tea, but I wanted to check it out and when I did I couldn’t stop watching. I have to find out what happens next! 





4. Share your Social Media links for us to follow you on(pinterest, twitter, facebook, etc) Tell us which is your favorite and why?





~ Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest – My favorite is hard to say. I am addicted to Pinterest, but I love Instagram, so I’m going to call it a tie.





5. What is a TV show or Movie or Song you could listen to or watch over and over and over and never get tired of…feel free to name one of each:





~ This is easy. GILMORE GIRLS is my all time favorite show. Probably because I have similar humor to them. I own all 7 seasons and watch it all the time. As far as songs… I’m a music lover so there are quite a few but Sinatra never gets old. I could listen to Frank all day every day and never get tired of him. I also love anyone country (other than T-Swift).

It’s OK…





…that we had NO trick-or-treaters last night.










…that it’s a good thing we didn’t have any trick-or-treaters last night because I ate all of the candy.










…that I have been slammed with work this week and have had almost no time to read.










…that I have not started my Christmas shopping and am usually finished by this time of year.










…that while everyone had brought their children to the trunk-or-treat, we brought our dog.










…that I haven’t painted my nails in over a month.










…that I’m writing this post super late in the day.










…that I’m addicted to Instagram.










…that I still have our 4th of July wreath hanging on our door.








…that I’m really embarrassed to admit that our 4th of July wreath is still on our front door.








…that I just realized I left Pippa outside.








…that I’m ending this post early to let my fur child in so she doesn’t freeze to death.
