Hey guys! Well, it’s official! Another year has come and gone. I turned twenty-nine, yesterday! The last year of my twenties, and I intend to make it a good one! I celebrated in my favorite new Free People dress! I have held out all spring and summer for this beauty and finally took the plunge and bought it! I’m so glad I did because it is absolutely beautiful. It does run a little big (I’m wearing an XS) so size down one size. It is so comfortable and great for weddings, church or – birthdays!

Happy Monday, friends! We are recovering from another busy weekend and I have officially torn our house apart trying to go through our house and purge! Does anyone else do that right before school starts? I feel like the fall and holiday seasons are going to be insanely busy this year and I am trying to get it all knocked out before then. For some, summer is coming to an end, but for those of us in the south, we still have two to three more months of summer weather. Summer fashion is so much fun! I love that you can wear frilly dresses, white, bright colors, tanks, shorts, skirts, hats, sandals and the list goes on. I have been really excited to share this post with some of my favorite summer fashion staples that I purchased this year! These are things I have worn many times and have absolutely loved!

We just got back from our trip to Jacksonville late Monday. We had so much fun visiting my family there. As my grandparents get older, it is more and more important for me to go often and I have tried to do a better job of that. It is a long road trip with our little ones, but it is more than worth it! I got to do a little Nordstrom Anniversary Sale shopping whole there, and I can’t wait to show you a couple of things I got in the store!

Happy Monday! No weekend update, today. We basically cleaned, hosted a cookout for my mom’s birthday Friday night, went to a kid’s birthday party on Saturday and did a lot of laundry, but I feel like I am starting off on a clean slate. There is something about a (semi-) clean house that get’s me all excited and ready for the week! Today, I want to tell you guys about a few things you need to know about this week. I did this a couple of months ago, and y’all really enjoyed it, so I wanted to do another! Here we go!

First off, Amazon Prime Day starts TONIGHT at 8p.m. EST. I can’t wait to see the deals and will let you guys know about my favorites! I’m not sure if I’m going to write a dedicated blog post on them yet or not, but I might decide to if it is too good to handle.

This weekend was a pretty relaxing one. We had several people over to our house to swim throughout the weekend, which was fun. We have swam every day that it hasn’t rained over the last two weeks and are honestly feeling a little waterlogged, so we are taking a break from the pool today. Happy Friday! I am PUMPED that it is the weekend because this week has been a struggle after the long weekend. My kids haven’t been sleeping and have been a little stir crazy because of all the rain, so we are very ready for a couple more days off so we can spend a lot of quality time together! One of the trends I have been loving this season are straw totes. I ordered a couple of totes last weekend during all the sales (ironically one of them was not on sale, though) and I am in love with them! I love red white and blue fashion. It is one of my favorite things about summer. I love these colors put together, I love showing my love for my country (no matter the state of our politics) and I love finding adorable fashion that doesn’t break the bank. I picked over 50 Memorial Day outfit ideas and most (not all) are under $50. There are a few that I  really wanted to include that are a little over $50 but everything is definitely well under $100.
