We just got back from our trip to Jacksonville late Monday. We had so much fun visiting my family there. As my grandparents get older, it is more and more important for me to go often and I have tried to do a better job of that. It is a long road trip with our little ones, but it is more than worth it! I got to do a little Nordstrom Anniversary Sale shopping whole there, and I can’t wait to show you a couple of things I got in the store!

Happy Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access Day!!! Did anyone else stay up until 3a.m. to shop? Well, I did – but for you guys, obviously. Not at all for myself. It was purely business. 😉 I am so excited to go to the store later this morning, but I stayed up to round up my favorites because they are selling out FAST! And I mean, why wouldn’t they? The sale is amazing this year! To give you a quick run down, velvet, ruffles, cold shoulder, off-shoulder, ripped denim, bell sleeves, military jackets and boots is what you will see this year. Very similar to last year, but more so. Does that make any sense at all? It’s 3a.m. guys. Let’s just get to the good stuff, shall we?

I am 26 weeks pregnant now, but I feel like I’m 32. Seriously. This baby feels a lot bigger than he actually is. Maybe it’s having my pregnancies so close together? I’m not sure, but this one has definitely been my toughest. I’ve been really sick again this week. I’m not sure if it is all the anxiety I’ve had lately or just the pregnancy making me so nauseous, but I’m hoping it passes very quickly.

This weekend was a lot of fun. We finally bought a zoo membership (something I’ve been meaning to do for a looooong time) and had a zoo day with friends. The kids loved it and I think it will be fun to take them a lot more often now that we have our annual membership. We also got to go on a date night! We are starting to get a little bit better about having those, and I don’t hate it one bit. It was so much fun. We went to our favorite restaurant and then to Target! How do we always end up there?

Last week, I shared my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale picks and while they are still very much the same, I wanted to share what I bought (and LOVE) and a few other picks for baby, your home and more! Tomorrow is the first day that the sale is open to the public and things are selling out FAST. After all, this is the most wonderful sale of the year. AmIright? After reading 1,000 other blog posts this past week on other women’s/blogger’s favorite picks and buys, I think it’s safe to say I’m not the only one giddy over this. So, here are my favorite purchases from the Nordstrom sale. And yes, there were way too many.

It’s here! The most anticipated sale of the year – Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, that is. This is bigger than Christmas, folks! At least, it is for me! If you aren’t familiar with the sale, Nordstrom puts their brand new fall items on super-sale for two weeks (three if you are a cardholder). It is a great time to rack up on name brand items and fall staples! Ryan gave me my (early) birthday gift in the form of money for my birthday this year, just so I could spend a little extra at the sale. Did anyone else stay up way too late to shop? I had a little too much fun! So, without further ado, here are some of my absolute favorite sales. (Can I have one of each, please?)

While I’m going to wait and share my purchases once they come in, I will spoil one surprise and say that I FINALLY snagged these boots in oatmeal. This color was exclusive only at Nordstrom last year, and every time it came back in my size, they would sell out faster than I could buy them. It was depressing. When I saw them in the catalog, I knew that would be my priority purchase this year, and I got them!!

Today is the first day of the early access sale (for lucky cardholders) and the sale opens to the public on July 22nd! So, if you are not a cardholder, you can start making your lists to help you shop the best deals before they sell out.
