Game Day

For those of you who weren’t around last year, fall is my favorite time of year. I am a little obsessed with the lovely leaves changing, pumpkin spice lattes, scarecrows, pumpkins and pumpkin patches, sunflowers, the cool nip in the air, and most importantly, Football. You have to be if you live in the south. After all, the SEC is the dominant conference. Sorry y’all, but it’s true. In our house, we are War Eagle fans, but I’m also a Gator fan. Blame it on my dad. Every college football day is a big deal in our household. You will find us eating an excessive amount of junk food and yelling at the T.V (when we aren’t tailgating) every Saturday. Chances are, we are sitting on the couch, I’m trying to squeeze into my Florida jersey and sipping a pumpkin spice latte while watching gameday. Happy game day! Oh, and War Eagle / Go Gators!

A Post of Thanksgiving and Football

Hello ladies! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and were as blessed as I was to share it with family and friends. Here is my Thanksgiving in pictures:

As for today, it is officially “Rival Saturday.” I will be avoiding Facebook because I have been known to delete annoying (Alabama) fans so it is easier to stay away. I am a Florida fan and Ryan is a big Auburn fan, so we will be yelling “Go Gators” and “War Eagle” all day.

Trick or Treat: Trunk Edition

I promise this is my last Halloween post. Our church hosts a “trunk-or-treat” every year. My sister, Alex, decided to decorate her trunk and it looked adorable. I took these photos with my iphone so please excuse their quality as some are blurry. I hope you all had a safe and happy Halloween night!

Sister Day: Halloween Style

My sister and I spent a whole day together last Saturday so we could get our Halloween fix! We did a Halloween craft, made no-bake peanut butter bars, and watched Hocus Pocus (for the 27845489364518764 time). Here are a few pictures from our day of Halloween fun!

I made the bars in a 9×9 pan rather than 9×13 so they would be a bit thicker. I got this recipe from Six Sisters’ Stuff’s blog! Go check it out! They have great recipes!

They turned out great! If you like Reese’s, you will LOVE these! They were so easy to make.

Halloween Silhouettes: 


Unfortunately we do not have a Cricut or Silhouette (but I’d like one for Christmas, hint hint) so we googled “free Halloween silhouette print-outs” and found these. We printed them on card stock paper and then cut them out and mod podged them onto scrapbook paper that we purchased from Hobby Lobby. We bought these frames for $1 a piece from the Dollar Tree. This was a cheap, fun project that turned out really cute!

Happy October

Our jack o’lanterns from last year.
Happy October, friends! It is officially our favorite month of the year for countless reasons. This month, we will celebrate our first anniversary, Ryan’s 27th birthday, Pippa, our dog’s 1st birthday, leaves turning in the south, college football, my favorite drink at Starbucks – the pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin patches, and of course our favorite holiday – Halloween!
I can’t wait to build a fire, and watch Hocus Pocus (my favorite Halloween movie) while drinking a pumpkin spice latte and bake pumpkin bread!
Here’s to a happy October! It’s sure to be a great month!
