I am such a sucker for anything holiday related. Give me a reason to celebrate and I am going all out. Finding cute patriotic tees for myself and my family are a must every year! There are a few that I love (but can’t link) from United Monograms this year as well, so you should definitely check them out (here)! I found some great patriotic tees (most of them are under $20) that would be super cute thrown over a swimsuit or worn with denim shorts to whatever festivities you will be attending this year!

We had such a fun 4th of July this year. Our whole family got together and it was so fun to see and hang out with all of our cousins. We went to the parade, swam at my parent’s house, ate some delicious food and then watched fireworks! It was the perfect 4th of July with my favorite people! My kids went straight through nap time and dropped by the end of the night. To me, that’s a sign of a good day. I hope you guys had a great 4th! Here are some photos from our day:

Happy Friday, friends! We have finally made it to the weekend! Anyone else doing a little dance? We have a fun weekend planned with the kids and have been so looking forward to the weekend. My car is finally fixed, VBS was a major success (and so much fun) and we are feeling blessed. You know what? I was super negative about my car situation earlier this week, but I am so thankful that we had the funds set aside to pay for it. That was a big blessing this week and I am so thankful for that. And now, we can get on with our weekend plans and some awesome sales! I absolutely love the 4th of July! My entire family comes into town and I get to see all of my cousins, eat good food and watch the fireworks. We always have such a good time together and I am really looking forward to it this year. I also absolutely love wearing red, white and blue. It is such a classic combination that really works. This year in particular, I have seen the cutest clothes for the kids and the best tees for the mamas! In regards to my past 4th of July outfits, I’ve been known to go completely decked out in the American flag, or be a little more subtle with denim shorts and a white tee. I haven’t quite decided what I’m wearing this year, but I’m sort of going to go with what I’m feeling that morning. HA!

Hey, y’all! I feel like it’s been forever since I blogged. The break was much needed, but I am happy to be back and at it! I have so much to show you guys today, so be sure to check out my insta stories throughout the day! It is the Mondayest Wednesday, ever. Anyone else on the struggle bus a little bit? I am drinking all the coffee this morning. We had such a wonderful fourth of July weekend spent with family and lots of swimming and food! It doesn’t get much better than that, does it?

Yesterday, we woke up early, went to our small-town parade which is always a fun experience, went swimming and then to a cookout at my grandparent’s house! We saw lots of cousins and celebrated many birthdays in my family (we have 5 in my family this week). It is always a good time when we get together with all of the cousins. Today, I’m going to share a few snaps from the last few days. Fourth of July weekend is always so special for my family. We celebrate 5 birthdays in our family and  always get together for BBQ, a pool day and fireworks! It is a fun day. We even added in the parade of the little town that our family is moving to in November not too far away from where we currently live. My grandparents live out there and it is fun going to the little parade with our big family. My kids loved it – mostly for the candy that was constantly thrown at them. Hampton also loves seeing the firetruck every year. He even got a little tour of it this year and thought it was so cool. We may have a little firefighter on our hands…

We have a big holiday weekend coming up and all of our family is coming to town. We have plans to eat a big breakfast at my grandmother’s house, go to the 4th of July parade and then head back to my parent’s house to swim and cookout later that afternoon before everyone has to head back home. It is going to be a busy but fun weekend! If you’re like me, you are already thinking of how your toddler seems to know when it is a special day and decides not to nap, pitch fits, etc. Mine do it every Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. I swear, they just know. I like to prepare ahead as much as I can for these big days to try and avoid as many toddler disasters as possible.

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend! We celebrated my MIL’s, Mama’s, Cousin’s and Aunt’s birthdays, laid by the pool, went to a parade, enjoyed a ball game, played with sparklers and ate…a lot! It was absolutely the perfect weekend with my awesome family! It made me so excited for our cruise next month! I can’t wait to spend more time with the ones I love!
