It has been a really crazy January. We went from snow storm to shorts in less than a week. Needless to say, the weather has finally caught up with my family like is has so many others around us. Hampton has had a fever and hasn’t been feeling well and I woke up this morning with a little head cold. We are praying that Sophie and Weston don’t get this. Currently lysoling everything. We did have a really fun weekend despite the sickness. If you have little ones, you know how important it is to keep them busy or else they go stir crazy. Sunday after church my mom made us a special picnic and we ate at the park and let the kids play. It was such a special day. I don’t even remember the last time we did anything like that with just my parents. My kids enjoyed it so much.
Weston seems to have grown again overnight. I put him in his first 3 month outfit this weekend and it fit him. What on earth? This boy of mine is a growing weed. I wish I could freeze time. Other than dinner with friends, our picnic and a walk around the neighborhood, we pretty much laid around the house this weekend. It was nice and relaxing and very much needed. Now we are praying this sickness away!
