It has been raining the last few days off and on and our yard was flooded yesterday, so we have had many days stuck indoors all or a lot of the day. If you have young kids, you know this can be difficult at times. Hamp and Sophie have been fighting more, Ryan and I have been counting down the minutes until bedtime, you know. So, instead of being miserable, I took the day off yesterday and we played. We pulled out puzzles, watched a couple of shows, and our new favorite rainy day activity – built lots of cars and houses with our new Shape Mags!
These Magnetic shapes are so fun to create and build with. My kids love anything like this that they can create. My son is all about building things and he really studies how things are put together, so these are perfect for him. I have also been using them to help Sophie learn her colors.
