For me, men are the hardest to buy for. Let’s be honest, they know what they like and absolutely don’t like. haha I like to buy our dads and Ryan gifts that go along with their current hobbies so that I know the gift will be a winner. For example, Ryan loves to golf, so anything golf related is perfect for him and makes him excited. I also love to buy him a new pullover or jacket each year to add to his wardrobe and freshen his closet a little because he doesn’t typically buy clothes for himself very often. Think about what your husband or dad loves to do and then go from there. Here are some gift ideas for men!

Weekly Recap: Mental Health Awareness + Columbus Day Sales

Dress (30% off) // Booties // Sunglasses
Hey, y’all! I have been super MIA this week due to the sudden passing of my cousin’s wife. Many of you reached out to me on Instagram and I appreciate all of you and your prayers for her family. She was so loved and cherished and my heart just breaks for her family. It is also mental health awareness week and my anxiety has been high (as you can probably imagine) this week. I’ve found it helpful to keep busy, but have had a lot of sleepless nights and a very hard time staying focused. I think that is pretty normal during a sudden tragedy, but the situation has been all too real to me having recently had another baby, myself. It has put things into perspective and made me realize how fragile a woman’s body truly is after giving birth.
I talked about my personal struggle with anxiety recently, but I wanted to reiterate that if you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other mental illnesses, it is so important to talk to those around you who you trust. For me, that has been Ryan, my doctor, close friends and family. Just letting them know and making them aware will help so much. There is absolutely no shame in reaching out or admitting you are struggling. News flash: Everyone does at one point or another. Here are a few things that I do to help with my postpartum anxiety:
Exercise daily
Drink water
Prayer and meditation
Yoga
Talking and asking for help when things get to be overwhelming.
Go to bed early
Drink water
Stay positive (take control of your thoughts)

October Weekly Recap and Weekend Sales
Weekly Recap:
This week, we kicked off my favorite month of the year with a bang! October is finally here, but it definitely does not feel like it here. It apparently got up to 101 degrees the other day according to our weatherman. It definitely felt like it. I am excited to see it cooling off a tiny bit next week. Maybe it will finally feel more like fall. We went to the pumpkin patch for Sophie’s field trip yesterday and had the best time! I shared a few more photos on Instagram. We played in a corn pit, pet a donkey, played in the bouncy houses, and picked a pumpkin (of course)!
My little man turned 6 months old last Sunday. I shared a little update on him here! I also shared a few bible verses for stressed out moms here. On Wednesday, I shared a small Amazon haul in my insta stories! I will share more Amazon finds on the blog soon, but for now, check it out in my stories highlights here or in the LTK app! Everything I post (and other exclusive app-only content) will be found in the app.under my name (logan_can).
This sweater was this week’s top seller by a landslide! It really is a good one and is so cute in person! It fits TTS and comes in several other color options.

Tucker is 6 Months
I can’t believe our little nugget is 6 months old! He is growing so fast and time is just flying. I am trying so hard to soak up every moment with him and enjoy those middle of the night feedings (no, he is still not sleeping through the night) and early morning wake-up calls. Tucker is such a joy and we are all smitten with him. Weston is obsessed with his “big belly” and Hampton and Sophie are the best little helpers. They love to make him laugh and play with him on his play mat!
Update: Tucker is still refusing a bottle, but I am hoping to get him more used to the taste of formula by mixing it with cereal to see if that helps him at all. We will see. Also, as stated above, he is not sleeping through the night, but we are about to start sleep training him. I am dreading it, but I think it will make a huge difference for all of us.
Currently, Tucker is still sleeping in and loving his Dockatot. The Dockatot helps the crib transition so much. I am so thankful for it and wish I had known about it with Hamp and Sophie. He is loving his little toy car and his Sophie Giraffe (all of my kids have had one and loved it). He still sleeps in a sleep sack some night and we swaddle him with his arms out some nights. He still loves his bottom half to be swaddled, so we are doing that until we start sleep training, then we will use the sleep sack, only.
Another item we have loved is our baby bouncer. We used the same one for all 4 kids and it has been wonderful. He is getting too big for it now and can get his legs out of the buckle. We joke and say he is our Houdini baby. He can get out of just about anything.
I can’t believe our little caboose is already halfway to ONE. We are having so much fun with him and when he smiles at us with those big blue eyes, we all melt.
Bible Verses for Stressed Out Moms
I’m not going to lie, it has been a long and stressful last two weeks. We have had a lot going on and when we are in a busy season, I tend to get stressed. It’s funny though, because I also feel like that stress drives me to be super productive. For example, stressed out Logan turns into cleaning the whole house Logan. What can I say, it gets the nervous energy out. However, I have definitely turned to scripture many times over the last couple of weeks when I started to feel a lot of stress, anxiety or worry. I thought I would share some of my favorite bibles verses for stressed out moms because I know I am not the only one who feels it sometimes. Being a mother is the most stressful, wonderful job there is! I hope these verses give you comfort and encouragement.
“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
“The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.” Exodus 15:2
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.” Ephesians 6:10
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18
“but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
“You should be known for the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.” 1 Peter 3:4
Amazon Sweaters Under $30
I love finding affordable options especially when they are available for prime shipping! We sure our getting spoiled with our Amazon shipping, aren’t we (haha)? But, when you need something on short notice and don’t have time or want to go shopping in a store, it really is great. I ordered three Amazon sweaters to try this week and I honestly was very disappointed with two out of the three.
If you follow me on Instagram, I shared the packaging in my stories. Because of the way that the sweater was packaged and the poor quality, both of the sweaters (from the same brand) were messed up. I am unfortunately having to return them. I did love the third option. I was pleased with the fit and quality and love the color blocking on the sleeves. It is so adorable and very affordable. All three of these fit TTS. I am linking some other sweater options below that you can check out!
You can easily see where this sweater was damaged. I unfortunately can not recommend this one. It was very thin and poor quality and the stitching was all messed up on the front.
Again, this one is very damaged as you can see. I love the look of this one, but it was very poor quality. It is the same brand as the one above. I was sad and disappointed about this one.
This sweater is honestly, GREAT! The quality was good for the price (granted, not free people quality, but good for the price). I love the fit of this one and it was in perfect condition. This Amazon sweater restored my faith in Amazon again.
Amazon can be very hit or miss and lately I have had a lot more misses than hits, but I am determined to find more pieces that I can recommend to you, so stay tuned for more!

First Day of Fall
Happy OFFICIAL first day of fall, y’all! Like every basic girl out there, fall is my favorite time of year. The weather finally starts cooling off a bit and I absolutely love watching the leaves turn to my favorite color palette. The crisp air, football games, boots (and all of the fun fall fashions), pumpkin patches, etc. It all makes me so happy. I think for me, some of my favorite memories and events have happened in the fall which is what makes it so special to me. Our anniversary and Ryan’s, Hampton’s and Weston’s birthdays all take place in the fall. We have had some of our happiest days during this season that I treasure.
I wanted to give you all a little life update because I haven’t written one in a very long time. My sweet baby boy will be 6 months old next week! I can NOT believe that. His first six months have flown by and it has all been a pretty big blur. At the same time, I am really trying to enjoy every minute I can with him and soaking up all the baby things. It is so emotional knowing he is my last baby. It has been tugging on my heartstrings, but I feel like everyone goes through that with their baby.
Hampton is THRIVING in kindergarten. We had a tough first couple of weeks because like him mama, he doesn’t like change. With everything being so new, it was hard on him, but now he is loving it and looks forward to going every day. I am so proud of him.
Sophie is doing great in preschool. We made the decision to move her from a 5 day program to just 3 this year so that I could spend more time with her and we would spend less time on the road. It has worked out really well and I have loved having my three littles all home with me on Mondays and Fridays. She also started dance classes again and is still loving it.
Weston started MMO this year and has done really well. Of course, we are dealing with typical two-year-old things with him right now, but he is so fun and knows how to make us all laugh. He is the sweetest boy.
Ryan and I are doing really well. He is still traveling a lot which is tough some weeks, but it makes the days he is home so much sweeter. We have started being more intentional with making time for one another when he I home and it has been so nice.
I have been struggling with anxiety since having Tucker, but I am doing much better now. I have had to make some lifestyle changes that have helped tremendously. I am also learning how to ask for help when I need it and be okay with that. Exercising and taking breaks when I can has been a game changer for me during this season of life.
We are planning so many things for the next month including a camping trip with some friends and Hampton’s birthday celebration! We can not wait to check some things off of our fall bucket list!
