Raise your hand if you have been spring cleaning! Raise your hand if you have a toddler (or two) who make messes faster than you can clean them? Right here! Lately, it has been a struggle to keep our house clean. Before kids, it was spotless. Now? Some days, I don’t know why I even try to clean it. But the truth is I have a hard time functioning in a big mess. When our house is a wreck, I can’t write, think, or do anything. I blame it on my slight O.C.D.
Our house is never perfect. There is always laundry to be done or a toilet that needs cleaning, but one thing I do like to try and do every evening is pick up everything off the floors and vacuum them. I think because I have gotten so used to having a baby crawling around on the floor, it has forced me to clean them regularly. I feel so much better when the house is picked up and the floors are clean. Now that Weston is on the move (scooting everywhere) it is so important to keep all the little things picked up. It is tough to do when Hamp and Sophie are constantly dragging their small toys around the house.
Vacuuming daily, or even every other day has become next to impossible because of how busy we have been the last few months. Once the kids are in bed, I am normally worn out and have work to do on the blog, so I rarely get it all done. Cue my new best buddy and favorite mom hack: bObi Pet by bObsweep! Guys, this little lady has been my lifesaver these last couple of weeks. I can not tell you how thankful I am to have help now! Cleaning up at night has been a breeze because rather than vacuuming the entire house, all I have to do is push a button! My floors get clean while I work, watch T.V., read or whatever I want! Sophie still isn’t real sure about our new bObi friend, but the boys both love her! Hampton thinks she is the coolest thing ever and Weston literally chases her around if I am running her while he is awake. It is hilarious. He is totally mesmerized.
The bObi Pet not only vacuums, but it also sanitizes the hardwood and tile floors with it’s mop! Have I mentioned that I love this lady, yet? The bObi Pet has all the capabilities of the classic but with increased suction power and a longer lasting battery life so that she can cover more ground and get all of the pet hair and dust, making spring cleaning so much easier!
But the best thing about our new bObi Pet friend? While she is cleaning my floors, I can spend that time enjoying picnics outside with the kids.
