It’s no secret around here that I have a slight obsession with boots. Furry boots, ankle boots, knee boots, rain boots – I love them all! They are my weakness. A beautiful weakness. For Christmas, I splurged and bought a pair of Sorel boots and they have exceeded all of my expectations. They are comfortable and waterproof which is great. They are also great for all of the snow we get here in Alabama (I kid). But if I do ever take that ski trip I’ve been thinking about, they will be the first thing I pack.

I must say that these were one of my favorite Christmas gifts this year. I hope that this winter weather stays for a while so that I can wear them every day a lot.
This past weekend I received my January Rocksbox which was super exciting! I am totally in love with my jewelry this month. They are simple and kind of perfect for me. I definitely prefer small jewelry to big bulky pieces, although I do have a personal goal this year to expand my statement jewelry collection (ahem, or, lack there of).
I received two necklaces – a horizontal bar necklace on a short chain and a vertical bar necklace on a long chain. They are wonderful for layering, which I am really loving lately. My stylist aso sent me the arrow ring that I have had on my wish list! I am even more obsessed with it in person than I was before. It is so pretty. I haven’t decided if I m going to keep it all or not, but I have a feeling I’ll be keeping at least one thing from this month’s box.
