Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Purchases

Happy Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Day! The sale is finally live to the public and I am so excited about all of the restocks! I want to preface this post by saying I purchased a lot of things at the sale, but I am not keeping it all. I will return probably half of this. The store I went to did not have many of the things I wanted online, and because Nordstrom offers free returns, I went ahead and purchased online and will try it on at home, then decide what to keep and what to return. This year, I was shopping mainly for basics: jeans, tees, cardigans, boots and pajamas (I desperately need some new ones). I like to buy staples and not buy too many trendy pieces. Although, I am sure I will keep a couple of the trendy tops to enjoy throughout the year. So, here are my purchases and my absolute favorite things from the sale!

We just got back from our trip to Jacksonville late Monday. We had so much fun visiting my family there. As my grandparents get older, it is more and more important for me to go often and I have tried to do a better job of that. It is a long road trip with our little ones, but it is more than worth it! I got to do a little Nordstrom Anniversary Sale shopping whole there, and I can’t wait to show you a couple of things I got in the store!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Favorites

Happy Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access Day!!! Did anyone else stay up until 3a.m. to shop? Well, I did – but for you guys, obviously. Not at all for myself. It was purely business. 😉 I am so excited to go to the store later this morning, but I stayed up to round up my favorites because they are selling out FAST! And I mean, why wouldn’t they? The sale is amazing this year! To give you a quick run down, velvet, ruffles, cold shoulder, off-shoulder, ripped denim, bell sleeves, military jackets and boots is what you will see this year. Very similar to last year, but more so. Does that make any sense at all? It’s 3a.m. guys. Let’s just get to the good stuff, shall we?

It’s no secret around here that fall is my favorite season. Getting ready for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (tomorrow!) has me feeling SO excited for fall! Not to mention I’m sort of over all this heat. Fall fashion is my favorite. I love the darker hues and the warmth of the cozy styles. Happy Monday! No weekend update, today. We basically cleaned, hosted a cookout for my mom’s birthday Friday night, went to a kid’s birthday party on Saturday and did a lot of laundry, but I feel like I am starting off on a clean slate. There is something about a (semi-) clean house that get’s me all excited and ready for the week! Today, I want to tell you guys about a few things you need to know about this week. I did this a couple of months ago, and y’all really enjoyed it, so I wanted to do another! Here we go!

First off, Amazon Prime Day starts TONIGHT at 8p.m. EST. I can’t wait to see the deals and will let you guys know about my favorites! I’m not sure if I’m going to write a dedicated blog post on them yet or not, but I might decide to if it is too good to handle.
