We had every intention on throwing Hampton a birthday party this year, but with our move and the baby coming literally any day, we weren’t able to make it happen. I promised him that we would make it really special by taking him to lunch anywhere he wanted and to the zoo! It ended up being the perfect day to go to the zoo because it was so cool outside! The zoo was all decorated for Halloween which was another added bonus! The kids loved all of the pumpkins! Hampton was totally set on riding the rhinoceros… bless him.
We had so much fun celebrating our little man. It is hard to believe he is THREE! Where has the time gone? It is even crazier that he will be having his second sibling any day now. He is the sweetest boy and told everyone “thank you” a million times for the tiniest little things. It was such a sweet reminder that the smallest acts of kindness can often times be the biggest. Hampton has the right mindset, let me tell you!

All Hamp wanted for his birthday was a “red present” and three candles on a Thomas cake, so that is exactly what he got. He was so excited that I wrapped his gift in all red. It made me laugh a little bit. Him and Sophie had the best time at the zoo. It wasn’t crowded at all and it was really nice to be able to let them run around a little bit without worrying too much. We were all able to enjoy it and it was really laid back.
