Weekend Vibes

This weekend felt like a whirlwind. The good kind. My in-laws are golden because they kept our older two for us on Friday night and we got so much done. We even squeezed in a date (with Weston, of course) to our favorite Mexican restaurant. I got a lot of our house cleaned up while Ryan went to work on hanging mirrors, photos, etc. Our house is finally starting to feel more put-together and look like a home. Also, this is the only photo evidence of us going on a date that was taken by my three-year-old. haha I have GOT to invest in a tripod! If you know of a good affordable one, please let me know in the comments!

Saturday we went to my niece’s birthday party! She is such a cutie pie! I can’t believe she is two…and that means my Sophie girl will be turning two very soon. It doesn’t seem right. It just doesn’t. The kids had a lot of fun playing at the party and at Grandma’s house, but by the time we got home, they were completely out. Aren’t they cute?

Weston’s first of many mirror selfies…he looks terrified. haha He still doesn’t quite know what to think of mirrors.

Sunday, Ryan and I kind of crashed. We were so tired. Sundays for us are still busy because we go to churching the mornings, so home to play with the kids and put them down for a nap and then head back into town for small group after they wake up. We literally sat and watched Netflix during their nap because we were so tired from the week.

So, it’s Monday again and we have a busy week ahead. I am laced up and ready to tackle it head on. I hope you all have a wonderful Monday and just remember we are one step closer to the weekend again! 😉
