It’s the season for Holiday Gift Guides and I am having way too much fun searching online for the best gift ideas for everyone. This year, I have been looking for baby, toddlers, women, men and now more specifically, the new mom in your life. I just had a baby 4 weeks ago (how has it already ben 4 weeks?) and I have so many friends and cousins who just had babies or are currently pregnant, so I have new moms on the brain.

How to Make a DIY Hospital Door Hanger:
What you need:
Stamps
Stamp pad or paint
Wood letter
Paint pen
Ribbon or Twine
Wood Glue
How to Make it:
- I lucked out and found a wooden letter that was already painted white which is what I was planning to use as the background color anyway.
- I dipped my oversized stamps in an ink pad (I used espresso) and pressed the stamp down firmly to the letter.
- I pushed down everywhere really hard to make sure I got plenty of ink on the letter.
- I then took my paint pen and wrote Weston’s birth date, weight, length and time on the letter.
- I attached twine to the back of the letter with wood glue so that I could hang it if I want to, although right now, it is sitting on his shelf.
To make the perfect gift for a new mom, make a sign that she can fill in later! I love gift baskets, so I put one together to see how it would look and I love it!
