The holiday weekend is FINALLY here! I am so happy to have Ryan home and family coming later this weekend! We have lots of fun things happening. The parade, BBQs, lots of pool time and family time and I am so excited to get my hands of my favorite twins! My kids have not been a huge fan of the pool this summer, but I am hoping to change that this weekend. Hopefully with a little encouragement and motivation (and peer-pressure) they will enjoy it. When I went to Public to grab a few things for the weekend, I picked up a delicious Suddenly Salad Pasta that I know will make everyone happy.
My family loves carbs. Bad, I know, but the rolls are normally the first thing to go. These Suddenly Salads are so easy to make and only take a few minutes to put together. What I love most about these is that they give you suggestions for add-ins on the back of the box to add even more flavor and color (not that it needs it) to the dish. I love an easy side dish that I can throw together quickly. These will come in handy for church pot-lucks, too!
There are so many flavors and even a coupon (here). It was hard to choose which one to buy, but when in doubt, go with classic. I whipped it up and it was gone almost as fast. So, it’s back to the store I go for another box or three for the weekend!
