This weekend was so much fun! In addition to celebrating our 5th anniversary, Thursday night, we went to a dinner with our family and saw lots of friends we haven’t seen in a while. It was a special night. I absolutely adored my dress and this necklace from Penelope’s Stories! I love their shop! They have the prettiest accessories that are great for all occasions. On Friday, Ryan and I went to Birmingham for the day and ate at one of our favorite places: New York Pizza. We ran a couple of errands and stopped by Trader Joe’s which is always a treat since we don’t have one in my hometown. I loaded up on pumpkins, sunflowers and of course, cookie butter! Yum! I finally started packing my hospital bag and we even took the kids downtown to play for a little while! It was so nice getting out of the house so much this weekend after a lot of sickness. There is just something about being outdoors that makes you feel so good.
The mornings and evenings have finally felt cool this weekend and it is supposed to cool off even more this week. I am so excited and dusting off my booties in preparation! We went to check on our house and it is looking like it is almost finished (minus our garage and landscaping). The floors have started going in as well as our kitchen appliances. I am getting so excited knowing it will be complete and we will be moving in a few short weeks!
We celebrated our 5th anniversary this weekend as well! In some ways, I can’t believe we have been married that long already. It seems like it happened last year. It’s like I blinked and we have moved once (about to move again), had 2 kids and are about to have our third. Ryan has changed jobs, I’ve changed jobs. So much has changed and happened in those 5 short years and looking back, everything is very different, but we are very much the same. He still makes me laugh, challenges me, keeps me on my toes and helps me grow every day. I love him for that. And for giving me three precious babies!
This week, I am most looking forward to my doctor appointment! We will have an ultrasound to see how big baby boy is and see if I have progressed at all. I am very excited to see him one more time before he comes into the world!!
