I am a current expat living in South Korea with my husband. We came from Portland, Oregon after realizing living the ‘American Dream’ wasn’t for us. We will spend the next few years of our lives traveling the world. My blog is about our adventures traveling, my love for photography, and any domestic tips I’ve learned along the way.

I am a retired educator, journalist, and stay at home mom. For more than 20 years, I worked as a newspaper reporter, an emergent literacy specialist, and a school librarian. I am also a published editor of anthologies with Greenhaven Press, on prisons and the environment. In 2010, I retired due to disability.
